New Hope Ice Arena - "Mighty Ducks" & "D2: Mighty Ducks 2" Filming Location - New Hope, MN

The New Hope Ice Arena, located at 4949 Louisiana Avenue North in New Hope, Minnesota is where the final game on the film "Mighty Ducks" was filmed.

 The above photo is how the arena appeared in the film; below is the same arena in 2014.

The opening sequence in "D2: Mighty Ducks 2" was also filmed here. This is the scene where Gordon Bombay gets hurt during his minor league hockey game. Initially, I thought this location was actually Minnehaha Ice Arena in SE Minneapolis due to the sign in the still below. It was a fake sign meant to fool people like me. Both stills below are from "D2."
