Stine & Zach's Houses - "Goosebumps (2015)" Filming Location - Atlanta, GA

The 2015 film "Goosebumps," starring Jack Black, was filmed primarily in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Above is a still from the film showing Stine & Zach's houses. Below is the same spot in August of 2017. Stine's house is the larger one, located at 345 Mell Ave. NE. in Atlanta.

In the above still, facing north up Mell Ave. right across from Zach's house. You can see Slappy the Dummy driving off, turning west down Iverson St. NE. Below is the same spot in 2017.

In the above still, Zach, Champ, and Hannah are running north, about to turn onto Iverson St. NE. Below is the same spot in 2017.

Town of Juliette - "Fried Green Tomatoes" Filming Location - Juliette, GA

In the film "Fried Green Tomatoes," the small town of Juliette is almost a character in the movie. Along with the Whistle Stop Café, this town was used for a majority of that hit film. All of these photos are taken up and down McCrackin Street. Above is a still from the movie and below is the same spot in July of 2017.

I saw the words in the photo below painted onto one of the buildings. Very cool!

Sac-O-Suds - "My Cousin Vinny" Filming Location - Monticello, GA

The Sac-O-Suds gas station was a focal point in the 1992 film "My Cousin Vinny." Above is a still from the film and below is how it appeared in July of 2017.

In the still above, Stan and Bill pull up to the Sac-O-Suds in their car. Behind them, you can see the homes of Sam, Ernie, and Constance. Below is the same spot in 2017.

In the above still, Stan and Bill drive away from the Sac-O-Suds. Below is the same location in 2017.

The inside of the gas station has been remodeled but they do have some movie memorabilia there. I asked to purchase a can of tuna...they said they were all out! The staff there is extremely friendly and they told me the movie itself is used in law school as a case study. You can find the Sac-O-Suds at GA-16, Monticello, Georgia.

Hawk Theater - "Stranger Things" Filming Location - Jackson, GA

Believe it or not, the Hawk Theater doesn't exist. Easily one of the more memorable scenes in the first season of "Stranger Things," Nancy spots some unsavory graffiti about her extracurricular activities in the above still. The building was dressed up to resemble a theater, but it is obviously not. Below is the same spot in July of 2017. You can find it on the corner of South Oak Street and 3rd Street in Jackson, Georgia.

Whistle Stop Cafe - "Fried Green Tomatoes" Filming Location - Juliette, GA

The Whistle Stop Café was almost its own character in the film "Fried Green Tomatoes." As of the day I post this, the café is open for business and it looks very similar to how it did in the movie. The interiors are exact. Above is a still from the film and below is the café in July of 2017.

In the still above, you can see Big George preparing barbeque behind the café. Below is the same spot in July of 2017.

A fake grave was made for the character Frank Bennett behind the café, as well.

And yes, we had to order the fried green tomatoes and wash them down with sweet tea. It was outstanding! You can find this gem at 443 McCrackin Street in Juliette, Georgia.
