The 1984 classic "Children of the Corn" took place in the fictional town of Gatlin, Nebraska. However, a majority of the town is actually Whiting, Iowa. All of these locations can be found up and down Whittier Street. The top photo in each photo duo is a still from the film, and the bottom photo is how the location appeared in April of 2018.

This is the infamous "Children of the Corn House" from the film. Above is a still from the movie and below is how the home appeared in April of 2018. Frankly, I would absolutely love to buy this home and restore it!

The interiors of Hansen's Café were actually in Hornick, Iowa. The building burned down and was razed, but you can see Isaac looking in the window of the café in the above still from the film. I stood approximately where he stood and took the photo across the street. As you can see the backgrounds match up.
Below is the location in April of 2018. The front of the cafe's foundation still remains! You can find it on Main Street in Hornick, Iowa.

On Monday, September 4th, 1995, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) changed the sports entertainment industry by hosting their first-ever live prime time event. The Mall of America was host to the very first WCW Monday Nitro. Above is an overhead shot from that program, and below is the same spot in March of 2018, taken from the 4th floor of the Mall of America's rotunda.

This was Kelly McGillis's house in the movie "Top Gun." Above is how it appeared in the film and below is the same house in February of 2017. It can be found at 102 N. Pacific Street in Oceanside, California.

These two Philly Cheesesteak institutions have gone head-to-head on just about every television show imaginable. Bottom line, it simply comes down to preference as both places are very good.
These two locations are directly across the street from each other in the Philly Cheesesteak Tourist Trap of the world. If you are in Philadelphia, add this to your list. Above is "Pat's King of Steaks" (located at 1237 E Passyunk Avenue) and below is "Geno's Steaks" (located at 1219 S 9th Street).
I went there in December of 2017, ordered one sandwich from both places, and tried them. My winner? Tony Luke's! :)

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is not just one of the most amazing art museums I have ever visted, it is also home of the famous "Rocky Stairs" from the 1976 film "Rocky." This is how it appeared in December of 2017.
There is also a statue near the stairs of the fictional character "Rocky." Beware of people trying to "use your phone to take your picture." You can find this museum at 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA.
