New Heights School - "The Cure" Filming Location - Stillwater, MN


The school used in the very opening scenes of the 1995 film "The Cure" is called New Heights School. Above is a still from the film and below is the same spot in July of 2016.

In the opening credits of the 1995 film "The Cure," character Erik walks home from school. You can find this location on the far north end of Broadway Street South in Stillwater, Minnesota. The street itself is a dead end.

This scene is at the end of the 1995 film "The Cure," which entails Erik riding with Linda as she breaks down after Dexter's death. In the above still from the film, she pulls up to the corner of 4th Street South and Churchill Street West, facing south on 4th Street in Stillwater, Minnesota.
