Glencoe Beach - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Filming Location - Glencoe, IL

During Cameron's mental breakdown in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," Sloan, Ferris and Cameron pull over and Cam lays on a wall near the beach. Above is a still from the film. The water mass is Lake Michigan and they are sitting near Glencoe Beach which you can see in the background near Ferris' face. Below is the same location in August of 2015. The Art Institute of Chicago - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Filming Location - Chicago, IL

The Art Institute of Chicago was used for a filming location in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and gave us a few memorable moments. Above is Ferris, Sloan and Cam entering the museum. Below is the same location in August of 2015.

Wrigley Field - Chicago, IL

Wrigley Field is home of the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball team. The original structure of the building was erected in 1914 and has been seen in countless television shows and movies (above: "Ferris Bueller's Day Off; below: the opening credits to the TV show "Perfect Strangers.").

Park the Car - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Filming Location - Chicago, IL

In the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," Sloan, Ferris and Cameron leave Cameron's dad's car in a parking ramp and then go for a walk to explore downtown Chicago. Above is a still from the film as they leave the parking ramp. Below is the exact same location in August of 2015.

As Principal Rooney searches for Ferris in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," he stumbles upon this quaint, Dutch-looking section of Winnetka, Illinois. Above is a still from the film; below is the same location in August of 2015.

Cameron's House - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Filming Location - Highland Park, IL

The house that was used as Cameron's home in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" is still standing. This is the house with the infamous scene where the car went through the window and landed in the woods. Above is a still from the film and below is the house in August of 2015. It a little hard to see through the trees but you can see the room where the car actually went through the window. You can find this house at 370 Beech Street in Highland Park, Illinois.

Glenbrook North High School - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Filming Location - Northbrook, IL

Glenbrook North High School was used for the scene where Mr. Rooney and Sloan are waiting for Sloan's father in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." You can see Mr. Rooney standing at the top of the stairs in the still above. Below is the same spot in August of 2015.

Save Ferris Water Tower - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Filming Location - Northbrook, IL

The Save Ferris water tower, as shown in the above still from the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," is located in downtown Northbrook, Illinois. The lettering stayed on the water tower for many years but was eventually painted over. Below is how the water tower looked in August of 2015.
