Grandpa's Funeral - "Little Big League" Filming Location - Minneapolis, MN

Grandpa's funeral scene was shot in Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. The above still from the film is located in section 2 of the cemetery. Below, the Pettit plot is shown in July of 2014.

In the above still, you can see the main Lakewood Cemetery pavillion in the background. In the image below from July 2014, you can see the trees have grown and the pavillion is no longer visible through there.

In the area where Grandpa Thomas was buried, there are no actual tombstones there. It's simply an open area located right next to the mausoleum building. The above shot is a still from the film; below in July of 2014.
