The Whistle Stop Café was almost its own character in the film "Fried Green Tomatoes." As of the day I post this, the café is open for business and it looks very similar to how it did in the movie. The interiors are exact. Above is a still from the film and below is the café in July of 2017.

A fake grave was made for the character Frank Bennett behind the café, as well.
And yes, we had to order the fried green tomatoes and wash them down with sweet tea. It was outstanding! You can find this gem at 443 McCrackin Street in Juliette, Georgia.
