Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum - Boston, MA

Yes, you can go relive the famous Boston Tea Party in the "exact" location it happened. This company has managed to turn a five minute activity into 90 minutes of my high school social studies class, which was boring and lost meaning. If you're in Boston, skip this.

Salem Witch Museum - Salem, MA

All I can say is just take the tour. It's archaic, morbid, and a ton of fun. This former church is now the home of where the witch trial history in the United States is being preserved. It is a lot of fun. You can find it at 19 1/2 North Washington Square in Salem, Massachusetts.

ECW Mass Transit Incident - Revere, MA

The ECW Mass Transit Incident is one of the darkest and true stories from the pro wrestling world. Below is an explanation from Wikipedia: "The ECW Mass Transit Incident was professional wrestling event that took place during an Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) house show on November 23, 1996, at Wonderland Ballroom in Revere, Massachusetts. 17-year-old Erich Kulas, an aspiring professional wrestler who used the ring name "Mass Transit," was seriously injured in a tag-team match against The Gangstas; the most severe injury occurred when Kulas was bladed too deeply by Jerome "New Jack" Young, severing two of his arteries. Further controversy arose when it came to light that Kulas lied to ECW owner and booker Paul Herman about his age and professional wrestling training."

The top image is of Kulas in that building, bleeding as the incident happened. The bottom image is the empty lot where the infamous building once stood. The photo was taken in June of 2023.

Town of Spectre - "Big Fish" Filming Location - Montgomery, AL

This was one of those bucket list locations for me. Located just north of Montgomery, Alabama, the fictitious Town of Spectre resides. This was a movie set built for the 2003 Tim Burton film "Big Fish," and much of it remains standing. The top photo of each set here is a still from the film, and the bottom photo is the same location in June of 2022.

In the above photo, the actual set was blocked off so I couldn't enter the building, but you can line up the shots with the fireplace.

I would visit this set soon if you are aiming to ever see it. The buildings are beginning to fall apart and many of the town's buildings have already caved in.
