Glenbrook North High School - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Filming Location - Northbrook, IL

Glenbrook North High School was used for the scene where Mr. Rooney and Sloan are waiting for Sloan's father in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." You can see Mr. Rooney standing at the top of the stairs in the still above. Below is the same spot in August of 2015.

The still above is a shot from behind Rooney and Sloan as she walks down the stairs toward Cameron's dad's car. Below is the same spot (and my car parked in the same location) in 2015.
You can find this school at 2300 Shermer Road in Northbrook, Illinois.

    I just did the John Hughes tour almost 2 years to the day (today) of this article with Home Alone, Cameron's house and The Breakfast Club school (Maine North now a police headquarters).
