Corn Palace - Mitchell, SD
Located at 604 North Main Street in Mitchell, South Dakota is the world's only Corn Palace. This is a multi-purpose area and entertainment facility which is decorated entirely by corn. Seriously, it is. These photos were taken during my visit in June of 2018.

Mt. Rushmore - Keystone, SD
For me, this is "bucket list" material. No trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota is complete without a trip to Keystone to visit the world famous Mt. Rushmore. This is how it appeared in June of 2018.

Wall Drug - Wall, SD
As you pass through South Dakota, you simply can not miss all of the Wall Drug billboards along I-90. Naturally, we had to stop in June of 2018 to see what the hype was all about - this place is HUGE. It's an insane tourist trap, but it was worth the stop. Bring some money and drink the free ice water.

Crazy Horse Memorial - Crazy Horse, SD
When traveling through western South Dakota, do not miss the Crazy Horse Memorial. First of all, this thing is HUGE and they do not anticipate it being finished for another 50 years. However, there is a lot to do on the Memorial grounds and lots of history for you to learn about. This is a can't miss Black Hills Destination. This is how it appeared in June of 2018.

The Fictional Town of Gatlin, NE - "Children of the Corn" Filming Location - Whiting, IA
The 1984 classic "Children of the Corn" took place in the fictional town of Gatlin, Nebraska. However, a majority of the town is actually Whiting, Iowa. All of these locations can be found up and down Whittier Street. The top photo in each photo duo is a still from the film, and the bottom photo is how the location appeared in April of 2018.
