Tschida's Bakey, which closed in 2012, was used as a filming location for the film "Grumpier Old Men." This is the place characters Melanie and Jacob ordered their wedding cake. The address to this location is 1116 Rice Street in St. Paul, Minnesota. Above is a still from the film and below is how the same location looked in September of 2014.

The Parade Scene - "Drop Dead Gorgeous" Filming Location - Waconia, MN
The parade scene in the film "Drop Dead Gorgeous" used two different streets in the small town of Waconia, Minnesota. Above is a still from the film. Below is a photo taken in September of 2014. In my photo, you can see the Waconia Trading Company in the background. The address is 24 West 1st Street.
Down the street from the Waconia Trading Company is St. Joseph Catholic Church, which is located on the corner of East 1st Street and South Pine Street. The above still from the film was taken on South Pine Street, with St. Joseph's as the backdrop. Below is the same spot in 2014.
In the above still, Mr. Leeman points to the giant swan float on South Pine Street. Below is the same location in 2014.
Again on South Pine Street, the girls get ready for the parade to begin in the above still; below in 2014.

Eden Prairie Center Mall - "Mallrats" & "Drop Dead Gorgeous" Filming Location - Eden Prairie, MN
The Eden Prairie Center Mall, located at 8251 Flying Cloud Drive in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, was used as a filming location for two films. The first was the 1995 cult classic, "Mallrats." The above image is a still from the film. Below is the same entrance in September of 2014, which is right next to the Target store. As you can see from my image below, the mall has changed quite a bit. In fact, most of the interior mall shots of "Mallrats" were also filmed here. The problem is that the mall has undergone an extensive overhaul and it looks absolutely nothing like it did in 1995.
The mall was also used for an exterior shot in the 1999 film "Drop Dead Gorgeous." The above still was taken on the back side of the Target store. Again, the mall has a whole new look as you can see in my 2014 image below.

Scarett's Martial Arts - "Joe Somebody" Filming Location - Richfield, MN
In the above still, the character of Joe (Tim Allen) from 2001 film "Joe Somebody," speeds down the street to Scarett's Martial Arts for some training. His car in the above still is traveling southbound in front of 6627 Penn Avenue South in Richfield, Minnesota. This is directly across the street from the Scarett's location. Below is the same spot in August of 2014.
Tim Allen's character is standing in front of the location used as the ficticious Scarett's Martial Arts, located at 6621 Penn Avenue South. Below is the same spot in 2014. I spoke to the owner of this location and he said the hand-painted Scarett's logo was still on the door up until the first part of 2014. He also said the weathered-looking blinds used for the film are still hanging today, as you can see below.
In the above still, Tim Allen's character peers through the Scarett's window; below in 2014.
Above is a wide shot from the film taken from the median in the middle of the street. It's a busy street and I was not about to go stand out there for a photo but I did the best I could in the image below (2014).

The above image is a still showing the interior of Scarett's Martial Arts. The owner of the location told me all interiors were shot on a sound stage and not at this location. He also mentioned he was invited for a visit of the sound stage set and explained how surreal it was to see his shop and not physically be at his shop.
