The Old Courthouse - "Groundhog Day" & "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" Filming Location - Woodstock, IL

In the film "Groundhog Day," the interior bar scenes were actually filmed on the inside of the Old Courthouse in Woodstock. Above is a still from the film and directly below is the exterior of the Courthouse in August of 2015.
