The gym at Owatonna Senior High School was used for the formal dance scene in the 1995 film "Angus." In the above still from the film, you can see Angus and Melissa preparing to walk on to the stage. Below is the same spot in August of 2014.

I was actually pretty disappointed with Owatonna Senior High School as a whole. They literally have a high school museum within the school and not a single "Angus" artifact is in their display cases...NOT ONE. 80% of the film was shot in the high school so I think its rather interesting they overlook it as a part of their school's history.
We do though. In the bottom display case between the Office and Library, there's a poster, signed picture of the leads and a VHS tape of the movie.
