Vincent Drug - "Halloween 4" & "The Sandlot" Filming Location - Midvale, UT

Vincent Drug was used in the filming of both "The Sandlot" and "Halloween 4." In the above set of images, the top photo is a screen grab from "Halloween 4," and the bottom is the same location in June of 2021. The pharmacy has been closed for several years at this point, but it can be found at 7696 Main Street West in Midvale, Utah.

Preston High School - "Napoleon Dynamite" Filming Location - Preston, ID

 

Preston High School was used as a primary filming location for the movie "Napoleon Dynamite." In the top image here, Deb and Napoleon have a conversation on the front steps of the school. The bottom image is the same location in June of 2021. You can find it at 151 E. 2nd S. in Preston, Idaho.

Saltair III - Salt Lake City, UT

 

Saltair has an extensive history in the SLC area, and has been rebuilt three times due to fire. I would encourage you to Google the background pin this place; it is truly interesting. I seriously wanted to see it because it was used in the 1993 film "Josh & S.A.M."

Bonneville Salt Flats - Utah

 

Located in Western Utah is the geographical oddity known as the Bonneville Salt Flats. Trust me, it's not snow - it's salt. 

Pedro's House - "Napoleon Dynamite" Filming Location - Preston, ID

 

In the top image from the film, you can see Napoleon taking Pedro's bike off of a ramp in front of Pedro's house. The bottom image is how the house looked in June of 2021. You can find it at 50 S. 2nd St. E. in Preston, Idaho.

Rex Kwon Do - "Napoleon Dynamite" Filming Location - Preston, ID

 

The Rex Kwon Do scene in the film "Napoleon Dynamite" were filmed at 2991 North State Street in Preston, Idaho. The above image is a still from the film; below is the exterior of that location in June of 2021.

Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming

 

Yellowstone has so many wonderful things to see, I don't even know where to begin. I decided to post photos of their geysers, which are incredible. If you haven't visited Yellowstone, add it to your list of musts!

Napoleon's House - "Napoleon Dynamite" Filming Location - Preston, ID

This one has been on my "bucket list" to see for awhile. In the above image mix, the top image is a still from the film Napoleon Dynamite and below it is the same location in June of 2021. You can find it at 1447 E 800 N in Preston, Idaho.

The above image is to the right of the home as you face it. The two posts sticking out of the ground is where Napoleon would have fed their pet llama Tina.

 This above image is the view directly across the street from Napoleon's house. This is where Lyle shot the cow in front of the kids on the school bus.
