Cook Memorial Arena - "Mighty Ducks" Filming Location - Coon Rapids, MN

Located at 11091 Mississippi Boulevard in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, this vacant lot is where the Cook Memorial Arena once stood. This location was used in the scene in "Mighty Ducks" where District 5 becomes the Ducks and they get their jerseys for the first time. The arena itself was torn down in 2012. Minnesota Vikings Ship - Eden Prairie, MN

This ship can be found right outside of the Minnesota Vikings training facility located at 9500 Viking Drive in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Caroline's Attack - "Untamed Heart" Filming Site - Minneapolis, MN

This series of shots is the scene where Caroline is attacked by the guys from the restaurant. It can be found at 43 Bank Street Southeast in Minneapolis.

Charles' Car Dealership - "Drop Dead Fred" Filming Location - Minneapolis, MN

Located at 222 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, this location was used at Charles' car dealership in the film "Drop Dead Fred." This dealership, formerly Rudy Luther Jaguar, was torn down in 2007 and a Whole Foods grocery store was built in it's place. Wait, I feel bad for typing that because THIS IS a children's playground; Marcy playground. That's right ladies and gentlemen, this is the location the one hit wonders Marcy Playground would derive their name from. Their 1997 #1 hit "Sex and Candy" would go on to make them millions!

Caroline's House - "Untamed Heart" Filming Location - Minneapolis, MN

Located at 1535 Jefferson Street Northeast in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this is the house used as the character Caroline's in the 1993 film "Untamed Heart." In the above photo you can see actress Marisa Tomei entering the home. Below is how the home looked in 2014.

You also get a glimpse of Caroline's street in the film. Above, you can see Christian Slater carrying Tomei home after her character had been beaten by thugs. Below you can see the same houses, directly accross the street from Caroline's house, as they appeared in 2014.

For the longest time, I assumed the door where they had the secret knock was done in a Hollywood set...I was wrong. As you can see in the above still from the film, part of the door was false but the integrity of the structure remains. The below photo is the same door in 2014.

Mavis's Apartment - "Young Adult" Filming Location - Minneapolis, MN

This place has been cleaned up over the years. Neighbors complained and the city made this household clean the massive amounts of JUNK that consumed their yard. The house is still quite eclectic. You can find this place at 5117 Penn Avenue South in Minneapolis.
